This was take 2 of our tangleboxing adventure.
If you don't know what tangleboxing is, it's a cool program put on by our County Parks and Rec dept. every year. They hide boxes in several parks throughout the county, then you buy a passport that tells you which parks to go to and clues to find the box.
This particular box was at Locks Park in Lafayette. Jolina and the girls had gone with us the first time we tried to find it. After spending about an hour walking around this tiny park we had no luck.
That night Jo took her hubby back out there to help. They looked around for a bit with no luck either. There was another family looking and the dad located it. Ironically, when we had been there earlier in the day we had been right next to the box I don't even know how many times, we just didn't think they would hide it under a piece of concrete!
Anyway, the kids and I went back out so they could find the treasure. Ainsley was the brave one to go in the little cave made of bushed and look under the rock.
Our next trip is Discovery Meadows here in town. I'm hoping it will be a bit easier!
