New School Year

Ian started a new school this year. He's still in preschool but we decided that it would be more beneficial for him to be in a class with kids that were the same age and close to the same level since this is the year before he enters kindergarten. (His class last year was a mixture of 3 and 4 year olds.)

He is going to a Catholic school, the same school that his cousin went to. Because it is a private school they don't follow the same calendar as the school district. This means that Ian started school the last part of August instead of after Labor Day.

Sadly, Ian was sick and missed the actual first day of school but he was raring to go the second day!

Morning breakfast of marshmallow cereal.

His cheesey smile. My how he has grown!

Learning how to put away all his gear.

Next we looked for his name tag at a table. He got to play with blocks while waiting for the rest of the class to show up.

Waiting for my boy to come out.

There he is!
He had a lot of fun. He knew a couple of the kids in his class, which is always a good thing, and loves going to P.E. There are 18 kids total in his class with 2 teachers and I love that he learns about his Heavenly Father every day!
